No. If you're paying with Swisscom Mobile, an Amazon Prime Video subscription can only be set up or extended if your number is activated for additional services (i.e. for purchases with your Swisscom number).

If you want to end payment through Swisscom and would prefer to pay with a credit card instead, you can change the payment method in your Amazon Prime Video account at any time. Why do I see the reference "Not available in your country" for certain content?
You probably registered with an existing Amazon account that was originally linked to a foreign billing address. Even if you have entered a Swiss billing address in the meantime, the Amazon account cannot be used for Amazon Prime Video in Switzerland. Please create a new account with a Swiss address.
What happens if I stop paying for my Amazon Prime Video account?
Please ensure that you settle the open amounts on the Swisscom bill immediately. If you stop paying for your Amazon Prime Video membership, your account and your entire history will be deleted. That means that from then on you will no longer have access to your watch list or your playback history.

How do I set up my Amazon Prime Video subscription as part of my payment plan with Swisscom?
Customers will be presented with offer details including a link to the Amazon Prime Video T&Cs before they sign up for the offer, after which they can complete the sign up workflow using mobile browser or a PC/Mac browser. New customers will be routed to an Amazon authentication page where they can sign in using existing Amazon login credentials or create a new Amazon login. After signing in, customers should download the Amazon Prime Video app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store to begin enjoying Amazon Prime Video content on their devices. NOTE: This last step is unnecessary for Fire Tablet and Fire TV devices, as the separate Prime Video app is not necessary on Amazon devices.
How will I know that my subscription status is active?
Customers will receive a confirmation email from Amazon that they are a Amazon Prime Video subscriber and will see their successful activation status for Amazon Prime Video subscription through their Swisscom account. The email will include information on how to manage their account through Swisscom. Any mobile data used while downloading the app or using Amazon Prime Video will be taken from a customer’s data allowance/free.
I am not part of a qualifying plan. Am I eligible to subscribe to Amazon Prime Video standalone/add-on?
Yes! Existing Postpaid and Prepaid customers (new and existing) are eligible to add Amazon Prime Video as an add-on to their current plan.
What happens to my Amazon Prime Video membership when the promotional period ends, but I continue my Swisscom plan?
For add-on customers, membership continues uninterrupted, as customers are auto-renewed into their monthly plan as part of their Swisscom bill. Customers can also cancel the membership with Swisscom at any time. After the promotional period you will be charged at the monthly price to your prepaid account or by monthly mobile bill.
I am an existing Amazon Prime Video subscriber. Am I eligible for the Amazon Prime Video benefit?
Yes, but customers must cancel their existing subscription with Amazon first. Existing Amazon Prime Video subscribers will be eligible to sign up for the Swisscom offer after they cancel and end their existing Amazon Prime Video subscription period.
What happens to my Amazon Prime Video account if I eventually change my mobile carrier or plan?
If your mobile service is no longer through Swisscom, or you leave the qualifying plan for a different plan that does not include Amazon Prime Video, your subscription will be automatically cancelled.

How to turn on parental control?
To turn on parental controls, you first need to set a Amazon Prime Video PIN for your account. To set or change your PIN: 1. Go to Prime Video Settings - Parental Controls. 2. Enter your PIN and select Save. Tip: You can also manage your PIN from the Prime Video app for Android and iOS. Just open Settings from the menu, select Parental Controls, then select Change Prime Video PIN. Once your PIN is set, you can turn on the purchase and viewing restrictions for your account.
How to set Viewing restriction?
Viewing restrictions give you the option to block playback of videos from certain ratings categories. You can choose which ratings categories you would like to restrict, and on which of your registered devices you would like these restrictions to apply. When you have viewing restrictions set, you'll see a "lock" symbol for movies and TV shows with ratings in your restricted categories. If you try to watch one of these titles, you are prompted to enter your Amazon Prime Video PIN before you can start playback. To block playback of Prime Video titles based on their ratings category: 1. Go to your Prime Video Settings - Parental Controls. 2. Go to the Viewing Restrictions section. 3. Select the ratings categories you want to restrict. Then select the devices you'd like to apply viewing restrictions to.
